What is ITIL Practitioner Support & Restore training?

ITIL Practitioner Support & Restore training (like its complement ITIL Practitioner Release & Control training) is the natural progression in ITIL certification for ITIL Foundation certified professionals.

Over the course of five days, Plexent instructors, who are all full-time, ITIL-certified Plexent consultants, leverage real-world experience to provide students an in-depth practitioner-level education of following ITIL processes: Service Desk Function, Incident Management and Problem Management to support a partial or full implementation of ITIL in an organization.

Plexent’s ITIL Support and Restore training is conducted on-site at the organization and may include testing, if requested. Course participants will be prepared to complete the two-hour, 40-question certification test to become ITIL Support and Restore Practitioner certified.

Who should attend ITIL Practitioner Support & Restore?

The ITIL Support and Restore Practitioner certificate is aimed at professionals who will participate in managing, organizing and optimizing the operations of the processes in an IT Service Organization that has implemented processes based on the ITIL guidance. The target group consists of operational staff and managers wishing to extend their skills in planning, monitoring, reporting and optimizing, related to the activities that Support and Restore the IT infrastructure.

The Support and Restore Practitioners should have obtained basic knowledge of ITSM as shown by their ITIL Foundation Certificate. These certificates are of special interest for IT staff with some experience in one or more of the processes, who want to become involved in managing these processes within their organization.

What should you expect from ITIL Practitioner Support & Restore?

ITIL contains a comprehensive description of the processes involved in managing IT organizations. The ITIL Support and Restore Practitioner course introduces professionals to the best practices for ITSM for Service Desk Function, Incident Management and Problem Management processes.

The requirements of the ITIL Support and Restore Practitioner certificate include the successful completion of three practical assignments, which prove the ability to apply skills in practice.
