What is ITIL Foundation training and certification?
As an Accredited Training Organization (ATO), Plexent’s EXIN-accredited ITIL version 2 and ITIL version 3 Foundation training is available on-site and through open-enrollment. In three days, Plexent will provide the necessary training to those seeking the knowledge to understand the basics of service management in an organization from an ITIL perspective. ITIL Foundation training attendees will also be prepared to complete the one-hour, 40-question certification test to become ITIL Foundation certified.
Who should attend ITIL Foundation training?
The training and examination for the ITIL Foundation certificate is reserved for those working in the field of IT service management (ITSM). This ITIL Foundation certification is required for the ITIL Practitioner and ITIL Service Manager certificates in IT Service Management.
Organizations typically request that the key leads of an IT service management adoption gain at least and ITIL Foundations certification. Plexent also offers an ITIL Awareness session that requires less of a financial and scheduling commitment for those seeking a basic knowledge, but not a certification.
What should you expect from ITIL Foundation training?
The ITIL Framework contains a comprehensive description of the processes involved in managing IT organizations. The ITIL Foundation course introduces professionals to the best practices for IT Service Management through the 11 key IT disciplines (ITIL version 2) or the 5 Service lifecycle phases (ITIL version 3) that impact the wider organization.
