An Approved Examination Organization (AEO) is any organization -approved by an Exam Institute (EI) and duly licensed by the Accreditor- that provides examinations, but does not conduct any training or Education Services, unless as a separately accredited organization with sufficient separation of functions, personnel and branding, as an ATO.
An AEO may offer Foundation & Intermediate level exams. For Intermediate exams, the AEO is responsible for ensuring that each candidate has had accredited training (training material, trainer, courses) and fulfills any prerequisites defined by the Accreditor for the specific certification.
Plexent is both an ATO and an AEO.
