July 7, 2011 – Dallas, T X – Plexent (http://www.plexent.com) today announced the release of its ISO/IEC 20000 Readiness Assessor.
This tool is meant to provide an indicator to you as to how much work may be required to achieve an ISO/IEC 20000 for your organization. Plexent is a consulting firm that provides consulting, readiness and training. Plexent is not an auditor for ISO/IEC 20000.
This assessment is intended to evaluate your current readiness to undergo an ISO/IEC 20000 Certification. These questions align with specific sections of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard.
The report will provide general comments about your readiness for each section and will provide suggested next steps. You'll also notice a "traffic light" indicator for each section which provides a quick indicator of your organizational maturity in each area.
Julie Montgomery, Director of Marketing for Plexent, stated, “Assessment questions cover all 20 sections of the standard. You’ll complete the assessment online and then will immediately receive a link to a web-based report, based on your entries, which you can bookmark. After you’ve made some headway using the recommendations, you can then re-assess and see what kind of progress you’ve made. We’re excited to offer this tool to the market.”
Gordon Brown, President of Plexent stated, “We often see customers considering an ISO 20000 certification, but honestly have no idea how much of an endeavor that would be for them. This tool will give them a decent idea, as well as provide some action items to move closer to being ready.”
